Q: Is the school a government school?

Howick Pre-Primary is an independent pre-primary, registered with the Department of Education and run under the governance of an elected School Governing Body.

Q: What term dates do you follow?

School terms run in conjunction with the Government school terms.

Q: What time does the school day start and end?

School times are from 07h00 to 12h15.

Q: Do you offer aftercare?

Yes, aftercare starts at 13h00 and ends at 17h00 daily. Aftercare is charged per hour, and you are only charged for the time your child spends at school.

Q: Do you do any assessments?

All our Grade R children are assessed at the start of their Grade R year. This assessment allows us to provide a unique learning programme for each Grade R child.
